Guest wireless access is available on UCF's main campus for visitors to have limited internet connectivity while visiting campus.  An SSID of 'GUEST' is broadcast in most areas and should appear as an available network for a wireless client to attach to.  In the areas it is not broadcast it is still available for use, but you will have to enter the settings into your wireless device manually.  There is no encryption and authentication is open. SSID is 'GUEST' (all capital letters)  You may type it in manually wherever you see the UCF network broadcast and it will work.

There are no restrictions on who may attach to guest wireless network, but access to campus resources and the internet is very limited.  All UCF staff and students should register their MAC address according to these Registration instructions so that they may access the 'UCF' wireless network and have full access to campus resources and the internet.

Students and staff should not register wireless MAC addresses for visitors or guests.  They must use the guest access that has been provided for them.
