Computer services has created a root certificate for securing web sites and other information on the campus LAN.  If you are having trouble accessing a secure web site for UCF, download and install the following file as a Trusted Root Certification Authority.

PKCS #7: UCFRoot.p7b
DER encoded binary X.509: UCFRoot.cer, UCFRoot.zip

Installation Instructions for Windows:
    1. Save the file UCFRoot.p7b to your desktop
    2. Right click on the file and chose 'Install Certificate'
    3. Accept all the defaults

Verification for Internet Explorer on Windows:
    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. Click Tools, Internet Options
    3. Select Content, then click Certificates
    4. Choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities
    5. Verify that a certificate titled University of Central Florida has been installed

Instructions for other operating systems will be posted as they are deemed necessary.
